The city of Yakima will close a part of E. Chestnut Ave for tree-trimming and clearing. 

YAKIMA, Wash.- Chestnut Ave. between Fourth and Naches Ave. will be closed on Monday, April 15, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to remove and trim trees. 

According to the City of Yakima, Property access will be maintained as best as possible.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area when possible, reduce their speed to 20mph and drive cautiously.
