RICHLAND, Wash - If you've ever considered converting to solar or wind power in your home or business, a seminar hosted by WSU might help.

Installing solar power panels or wind turbines can be a great way to reduce energy bills and become more ecologically friendly.

It can also be difficult to understand, especially if you want to take advantage of the credits and incentives offered by the government.

A seminar hosted by WSU will cover all those unanswered questions.

"Tax credits for residences...there's a 30% fed tax credit, no sales tax, some other incentives...they are kind of complicated in Washington state.  Then also for business's you can get that tax credit as a grant for a business. There's other incentives for business...accelerated appreciation and other things." Explains Jonathan Lewis of Seraphim Energy.

The seminar will be from 6-8:30 Monday evening at the WSU C-I-C room at 2710 University Drive in Richland.

The seminar is free at open to the public.
