ELMER CITY, Wash. - Crews are mopping up on a wildfire that is burning near Elmer City in Okanogan County.  The Concrete Plant  fire started  around 7:45 p.m. Friday and appears to have burned around 300 acres and is now contained.

Saturday fire activity has significantly cooled down due to the weather and the efforts of  firefighters, but some spots did flare up Sunday morning.

The fire was threatening structures Friday evening but none were damaged or destroyed by the fire.  An evacuation order issued Friday was lifted on Saturday.

3 crews are left fighting the fire.   Cews from The Bureau of Indian Affairs and surrounding local fire departments have been working to put the fire out.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
