ELMA, Wash. (AP) - The Grays Harbor County sheriff's office says the pilot of an ultralight suffered leg an internal injuries in a crash into a field near the Elma Airport.

Undersheriff Rick Scott says 35-year-old Abraham King of Aberdeen was being taught to fly the 1985 Tierra T-Bird Ultralight by his father Thursday, when the craft appeared to go into a stall.

KXRO reports King was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
