KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA | Missing boaters rescued from the Columbia River

Two men from Pendleton and a woman from Warm Springs, Oregon are rescued on the Columbia River, about a mile upriver from Crow Butte.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office got a call about the missing boaters who didn't return after setting fishing nets. In the dark, deputies searched the river and found a capsized boat with all three boaters clinging to the side.
All three were suffering from hypothermia after spending six hours in the water. They said the motor got stuck in the nets and that caused the boat to tip over. None of them were wearing life jackets.
