KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA | Richland woman dies in fatal crash

NEAR WAPATO -- A second person has died from Sunday's fatal accident that happened near Wapato. The husband of 34-year old Audrey Ulrich confirmed with KNDU that she has passed away.
Two-year old Rafael Ulrich, also from Richland, died at the scene. Audrey and Rafael were in a car with their family Sunday afternoon.
The boy's grandmother, Marie Martinez, 67, is in serious condition at Yakima Memorial hospital. The father and another child (4 months old) are both in satisfactory condition at Yakima Memorial.
Police say they over corrected their car while driving on Eastbound I-82, and ended up hitting two trees.
