RICHLAND, Wash. -- A Tri-Cities physicians is in jail after police find out he had purchased drugs.
It happened Friday. Richland Police responded to the Days Inn on Jadwin in Richland after receiving a call of found drugs. Housekeeping staff found a plastic container of marijuana inside a nightstand.
Hotel records showed Alan Schnee, age 65, rented that room the night before. According to his contact information, his address was in Twisp, WA, but he left a local contact number. Police called that number and it was answered by a medical clinic. They left a message for Schnee saying he left some personal property at the hotel that he needed to pick up. A few minutes later, he arrived.
After questioning, he admitted the marijuana was his, but had several differing stories as to how he got the drugs and what his intent was. Officers booked Schenne into the Benton County jail for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
