
A West Richland military veteran is in Washington D.C. to share the stage with the First Lady, Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden. Jason Alves was a participant in The Telling Project and was invited to travel to our nation's capital as Production Manager.
The Telling Project is a veteran and civilian collaboration that uses the medium of theater to open up communication between veterans and their communities. The Telling Project was invited to Washington DC to take part in "mission Serve: Forging a Continuum of Service."
Alves will also share the stage with Colin Powell's wife, Alma Powell, and the cast of veterans and civilians who participated in The Telling Project's pilot production.
