BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - A week after a fire burned their school, students from Whatcom Middle School are heading back to classes - at three different spots.
The Bellingham Herald reports the school's 580 students have been divided into three groups, with each going to a different school in the district.
Whatcom Middle School's building was heavily damaged in a fire that remains under investigation. No one was hurt in the blaze.
The newspaper reports that many students will now have to take two buses each way every day.
