Several schools in Oregon close for the day

Due to power outages, several Morrow County schools and the Ione School District have closed and sent students home.

Irrigon Jr./Sr. High School -- CLOSED
Heppner Elementary School -- CLOSED
Heppner Jr./Sr. High School -- CLOSED
Riverside High School -- CLOSED
Sam Boardman Elementary -- CLOSED
Windy River Elementary -- CLOSED
The Ione School District -- CLOSED

Irrigon Elementary and AC Houghton Elementary remain OPEN.
