"Thanksgiving in Wine Country" begins Friday

YAKIMA, Wash. – If you got your fill for turkey on Thursday and don't have room for leftovers, the wineries of Wine Yakima Valley invite you to spend part of your holiday weekend with them.

This Friday through Sunday, the annual "Thanksgiving in Wine Country" food and wine pairing event returns to the Yakima Valley. Many wineries will let you taste items available specially for the weekend.

Members of Wine Yakima Valley participate in the Premier Pass program. For $35, the tasting fee will be waved for many of the wineries. In some cases, you will need the pass to get into a tasting room. Passes can be purchased at the door of select wineries.
