PROSSER, Wash. - A local winery is providing entertainment to families for an affordable price. The Airfield Estates Winery is hosting a mystery theater with wine and dessert.
The family event took place tonight in Prosser. People had the chance to enjoy the Murder Mystery Theater along with tasting five different local wines and three desserts. Marcus Miller is a wine maker at the winery and says in the past they've done shows with 5 course dinners, but this time they chose wine and dessert to make it more affordable. "We wanted to do it on a more affordable scale because not everyone can afford $85 wine-makers dinner. We wanted something more affordable that they can bring their kids and whole family out to," said Miller.
Airfield Estates Winery is having another production tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. The show lasts for about two and a half hours.
The winery is also giving back to needy families in the area. Now until the December 14 they'll be offering a 20% discount on any wine for people who donate canned foods or a new toy.
