
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Four people are injured in a explosive head on collision on Summitview Avenue Sunday night. State Patrol is now investigating the serious collision.
Sheriff's deputies say a car crossed the center line on Summitview Avenue swiping another vehicle. Then the car hit a pick-up truck head-on and burst into flames.
The driver of the car, 28-year-old Mario Zarinarra was pulled from the burning vehicle, he does not have a license. Three people riding in the truck were also taken from the scene by ambulance, the driver of that vehicle is Francisco Ponce, he's 22-years-old and from Cowiche.
Investigators said alcohol played a role in the crash. No word yet on the conditions of those involved.
