Walla Walla Winery On Wine.Woot.com

Updated:

WALLA WALLA, Wash - Wine.woot.com is a website that features one wine per week at a one-time-only price. Now, a Walla Walla winery is experiencing unprecedented sales because they've been selected to be on the site this week.

Pepper Bridge Winery's 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is featured on wine.woot.com this week, said Pepper Bridge partner Eric McKibben.

Normally their wine is $50 per bottle.  On the site, it costs $59.99 for two bottles, said McKibben.

"Just given that it is a one week deal and nationwide exposure on a popular site to our wine, its been worth it for us," McKibben said.

Since midnight Sunday, they've sold 1200 bottles.

Hogue Cellars in Prosser is working on possibly getting one of their wines featured on wine.woot.com too, said David Forsyth at Hogue Cellars.
