KENNEWICK, Wash.--Infinia Corp. secured $50 million dollars from a variety of investors to mass-produce it's prototype Solar System. This product takes solar energy and converts it into electricity, but at a much less-expensive rate than other current energy technologies.
Infinia staff say their system is most appropriate for larger-scale type manufacturing used by utility companies.
Some of the funding will be used to get it certified while the rest will be spent on product launch.
