ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Central Washington quarterback Jose Mohler is more than just stepping in for the injured Ryan Robertson. Two weekends ago Mohler replaced Robertson against Humboldt State. This past weekend Mohler led the Wildcats to victory over Dixie State, throwing for 259 yards and two touchdown passes.
Head coach Blaine Bennett is impressed. "I think Jose Mohler came in and did very well in replace of injured Ryan Robertson. Jose is a junior, he's experienced, he was a transfer quarterback coming in, threw for about sixty-six percent, two big touchdown passes, and zero interceptions," Bennett said.
