PASCO, Wash.-- -
Make-A-Wish grants a wish for a little boy battling cancer. A little boy who is fighting cancer had a break from his daily challenges when his dream came true.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation put together a parade bringing in a go cart all for 3-year-old Randy Tzintzun. It's something he has always wanted. They made it happen when doctors said Randy was too sick to go on a planned trip to Disney World with his family.
Franklin County Deputies escorted the new ride and brought presents. Engineering students from WSU Tri-Cities helped build the go cart.
Randy's father, Randy Tzintzun says "I'm happy that they did this for him. He's had a lot of hard times and he's still here. We're still happy and we're going to keep moving forward."
Make-A-Wish works with hundreds of children in the area with life-threatening illnesses.
This Friday NBC Right Now will be hosting a telethon for the Make-A-Wish Foundation so people can donate their unused airline miles for Make-A-Wish family trips.
