Kittitas County, Wash. - Moving water has washed out part of a roadway west of Ellensburg.

The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office says ice blocking a ditch along Barnes Road caused the washout. Barnes road connects Hanson Road and Brown Road.

The roadway is closed at the washout, but homeowners in the area still have access to their property. There's no word on when the road will be re-opened.
