GREAT FALLS, Mont. -
In addition to the multiple drug and burglary charges he faces, Ryan Leaf is also facing two counts of being a fugitive from justice.
The State of Texas issued two arrest warrants for Leaf on Monday in connection to his reported probation violation in Montana. The former Washington State quarterback is being held without bond on four burglary and drug counts after he allegedly broke into homes and stole prescription drugs on two occasions – once in March and once in April.
Leaf's bail is set at $50,000 on the two charges from Texas.
KTVQ in Montana reported Wednesday that if leaf is released from jail in Montana, he is required to appear in court in Texas within two weeks. He will be arraigned on the new charges in Montana on May 3.
