RICHLAND, Wash.- The 6th annual Richland Fly-In starts Saturday at the Richland Airport.
Anybody is welcome to come, but the free flights will only be for children between the ages of 8 and 17.
There will be a pancake breakfast starting at 7 in the morning, planes will begin taking off around 9 a.m.
There will be antique and experimental aircraft displays, and visitors can bring a tent and camp free Friday night at the airport.
The event is put on by the local Experimental Aircraft Association.
Once a child has flown, he or she becomes a "Young Eagle".
The kid's name will then be entered in the world's largest logbook at the Young Eagles website.
It's a very popular event. So you may want to get there before 9 a.m.
