HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The Hillsboro city council unanimously approved a license agreement with the Yakima Bears on Tuesday. It is a 20-year contract that brings the Bears to Hillsboro next year. Bears owners Mike and Laura McMurray, and general manager KL Wombacher were there. The last step is for the Northwest League, Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball to approve the deal by September 4.
