Fatal Orchard Accident in Grandview - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

GRANDVIEW, Wash. - The Yakima County Sheriff's Office says a 57-year-old man has died in an accident at a cherry orchard in Grandview. The man was operating a tractor to spray an orchard on the 500 block of Ware Road around 8:00 pm Tuesday when he became pinned between a tree branch and the tractor. One of the man's workers and a passerby attempted to free him. He was dead when medical personnel arrived. His name has not been released.
