SEATTLE, Wash. - The Democrat running for governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, says both political parties need to make the law work for the American people.

Inslee says the Supreme Court upheld the health care law despite "enormous political pressure by Republican attorneys general."         

In a statement Thursday, the former congressman says he hopes Republicans do not see the ruling as an opportunity for further partisan bickering.
