KENNEWICK, Wash. - Next time you get your car washed, you may want to consider helping out some local animals too.

Through the month of July, Mister Car Wash in Kennewick is holding its annual Paws-a-Thon Fundraiser for the Benton Franklin Humane Society.

For $1, $5 and $10 donations, customers can buy a "paw." A $1 donation will get you a free N-1 application on your car, a $5 donation will get you $3 off your next wash, and a $10 donation will get you $5 off your next wash.

Natalie Marquez, who works at the Mister Car Wash in Kennewick told us, "the community has honestly given back a lot, I'm surprised how much they've contributed. They help us and then we help them back as well. There are a lot of stray dogs out there, you know, so why not help them out? Feed them?"

The fundraiser has brought in $2000 so far this year, but there are still two weeks left.
Donation paws are on sale until the end of July at Mister Car Wash, at 404 N Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick.
