Former Zags Make Their Case in NBA Summer League

Former Zag Rob Sacre showed some muscle Tuesday night despite his Lakers losing again in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Sacre hit a couple jumpers, had a couple of slams and finished the game with 14 points and seven rebounds. Los Angeles, however, lost to San Antonio 92-81.

The Lakers are off today. They play the Clippers on Thursday.


Pargo Performs for Washington

Former Gonzaga guard Jeremy Pargo continues to make his case with the Washington Wizards. He scored eight points in the team's 83-77 win over Memphis on Tuesday. Ex-Washington Husky Tony Wroten had five points for Memphis.

The Wizards play Milwaukee Wednesday at 1 p.m.


Lillard Goes off for 27

Damian Lillard, the brother of Tri-Cities Fever quarterback Houston Lillard, went off for 27 points for Portland on Tuesday. The Blazers, however, wound up losing to Houston 99-88.
