Richland School District trying to fill materials committee

RICHLAND, Wash. - The Richland School District is looking for a community member or parent to serve on the Instructional Materials Committee. 

The committee meets once or twice a month during the school year and evaluates textbooks, novels and other instructional materials that are used in classrooms.  

Applicants must be district residents. 

Applications are available by calling 967-6004 or by e-mailing devonne.roth@rsd.edu.  

The deadline to apply is August 24.
