Seattle bound Alaska Airliner lands safely in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. -Alaska Airlines says everyone is fine after a flight bound for Seattle from the Los Angeles area had to make an emergency landing Wednesday morning.

 A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration says the flight crew reported pressurization and flight control problems about one hour and 17 minutes into the flight that originated from Ontario, California.

The pilots landed the airliner at the San Jose airport south of San Francisco.
