Catch the meteor shower at Ligo Hanford Observatory

RICHLAND, Wash.- Stargazers this weekend can get a close look at the Perseid meteor shower.

The Tri-City Astronomy Club opens the LIGO Hanford Observatory for free viewing between 8 p.m. and midnight Saturday.

Astronomy club members say visitors should bring a lawn chair and a blanket, and be ready for chilly weather.
