Sunnyside, WASH.--Sunnyside police made three arrests Monday morning in connection with a pair of early morning burglaries.
Police arrested two 16-year-olds and a 13-year-old suspected of breaking out windows and stealing from the Edison Market on the corner of 16th Street and Edison Avenue in Sunnyside.
The latest burglary happened at around 2 a.m. Monday.
Police said several neighbors called in to complain about a suspicious group of teens in the area.
Police did arrest all three, and even found a loaded, 22 caliber rifle in their possession.
Police also believe this wasn't the boy's first burglary.
"The business had been burglarized the night before," said Sgt. Joey Glossen of the Sunnyside Police Department. "And we believe, based on other evidence, that this is the same group of people that did it the night before also."
The store owner said some change was stolen, as well as cartons of cigarettes and lighters.
She said that, and having to replace several windows will cost them a pretty penny.
The suspects have all been booked into the Yakima County Juvenile Detention Center for first-degree burglary.
