PROSSER, Wash. - The Benton County Sheriff Department's Gang Unit arrested a man from Prosser this morning as a result of a two month long investigation.
Around 6 AM on Thursday, with the help of Prosser Police and the Washington State Department of Corrections, deputies searched a residence on the 1800 block of Benson Avenue in Prosser. The Gang Unit arrested Glen Murataya, a 34 year old Prosser resident, for three counts of delivering methamphetamine.
Deputies booked Murataya into the Benton County Jail for delivery of a controlled substance, and on a Department of Corrections parole violation.
Deputies say Murataya's narcotics sale happened within 1000 feet of a school, so any criminal charges will include a school zone enhancement.
