MOSCOW, Idaho -

The Idaho Vandals will try to bounce back after a bewildering loss to Eastern Washington this week. Next up: Bowling Green.

Bowling Green knows Idaho, that much is certain. The two teams have played each other two times since 2009. They will face each other a third time in Ohio this Saturday. In fact, one could say the two have developed a healthy rivalry of sorts.

"I think it's become one, I think it's put a lot of excitement around this game," said coach Robb Akey. "I think it's a very good thing. I think between the two conferences it's been a good thing. It's certainly been a good thing between these two teams."

Now it is up to the Vandals to avenge a disappointing season-opening loss to Bowling Green last year at the Kibbie Dome.

"I know that's who [Idaho] played in the bowl game, and I know last year Bowling Green got the win, so I know this is kind of the tiebreaker right here," said defensive end Maxx Forde.

"Out theme this week is redemption," said quarterback Dominique Blackman, who missed the season opener against Eastern Washington. "We want to go down there - it's a business trip for us. No screwing around, it's all focus and just make sure that we don't overlook any more teams."

Saturday's game can be seen live on SWX-TV beginning at 4 p.m. (PT).
