
NEAR MATTAWA, Wash. -- Grant County Deputies are searching for three people responsible for a robbery
at a home near Mattawa.
Around 10:30 a.m. Saturday Sept. 8, Deputies
answered a call for a robbery in the 7900 block of Wahluke Slope Road. The
occupants of the home, a woman and her two children, stated a woman and two men
knocked on the door, then came inside. One man, armed with a silver handgun,
demanded cash and gold. The three suspects tied up the woman and locked her two
children in a bathroom. The suspects made off with cash and guns from the home.
The woman and her children were not injured.
The suspects are described
as:
#1) Hispanic male, early to mid twenties, 6'0" tall, thin build,
bald head, wearing a black oversized leather jacket, white t-shirt, blue jean
shorts with lettering across the back. This suspect was armed with a silver
pistol.
#2) Hispanic male, late teens to early twenties, 6'0" – 6'2"
tall, average build, slight peach fuzz mustache, light complexion, wearing a
gray ball cap with a "B" on front, and a gray short sleeved t-shirt.
#3)
Hispanic female, early twenties, 5'06" -5'08", average build, short hair in a
ponytail, prescription glasses with thick black frames, medium-dark complexion,
wearing black zip-up sweater with white trim (possibly Nike-brand), and dark
colored jeans. This suspect was armed with a knife.
Suspect vehicle is
an older dark green four-door sedan, possible a Buick with plastic stock
hubcaps, last seen heading westbound on Wahluke Slope Road.
These
suspects are considered armed and dangerous and citizens should not confront
them.
