Yakima, WASH.--A power outage in Yakima left 23,000 people without electricity Monday afternoon.
The outage happened shortly after 12 p.m. Power was restored about 30 minutes later.
A representative from Pacific Power said an insulator on a transmission line broke, causing the line to fall into another wire.
It happened on 40th and Nob Hill Boulevard, and affected people living in the Southwestern part of the city.
