© Jeff Tuel returned to practice this week, but Mike Leach hasn't said whether he will play on Saturday.
PULLMAN, Wash. -
There are no signs pointing to the veil of secrecy being lifted any time soon at Washington State.
Mike Leach and Co. are getting ready for their Pac-12 opener this weekend against Colorado. And still the question remains: who will be the starting quarterback on Saturday?
Jeff Tuel put on the pads Tuesday at practice in Pullman. He even took a few snaps, although Ferris graduate Connor Halliday saw most of them.
Leach remains tight-lipped on the injury front, and suggests Tuel is feeling great. He is feeling so good, in fact, that he should be doing commercials.
"He's ridiculously healthy. He's one of those guys that Tony the Tiger would be proud of to be in a commercial and have him eat cereal and everything. You know what I mean?"
Translated, that means he isn't telling. Most believe Halliday will get the start again on Saturday against a not-very-good Colorado team.
On another front, Leach has yet to say anything about Rickey Galvin. He didn't practice Tuesday and is currently not on the depth chart.
