WSDOT to close US 97 over Blewett Pass today - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Washington State Department of Transportation today is expected to close down a large portion of US 97 over Blewett Pass so fire crews can work on containment of the Table Mountain wildfire. Highway 97 will close at 8:00 this morning and will be closed until 6:00 tonight. The closure starts at milepost 150 at the Junction of SR 970 near Ellensburg and ends at milepost 177, eight miles south of the junction with US 2 near Cashmere.
