Pasco, WA. -- The Pasco School District wants your help as they plan for the future.
The district is looking for interested community members to join their facilities task force. The group will be working on long range building plans for the district. Those plans include the renovation schedule for the district's older buildings, and plans for new schools to accommodate growth.
"We would like people who have a keen interest in improving and looking at the best path for the Pasco School District to take in the long range planning of facilities. We'd ask them to attend one meeting a month," said John Morgan, Assistant Superintendent for the Pasco School District.
The first meeting is coming up next Thursday, September 27th, at 6:00pm at the Booth Education Center on Lewis Street. Future meetings are scheduled for October 18th, November 8th, November 29th, and December 13th.
If you'd like more information, or if you're interested in joining the task force, contact the Pasco School District at (509) 543-6098.
