YAKIMA, Wash.-- More developments in the case against Kevin Harper, the man accused of killing three people in West Valley in 2010.
Friday, a judge selected a special prosecutor to look into phone calls between Harper and his attorney that were accessed by the lead detective in the case.
Harper's attorney wanted the case thrown out, saying the detective might have heard things protected by attorney-client privilege.
But the judge ruled to have former Yakima County prosecutor and US attorney, Jeffery Sullivan look into the matter.
