Text fight brought up in Stuart trial testimony

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. - Testimony continued Monday in Todd Stuart's attempted murder trial. He's accused of conspiring with his wife, Tashia, to kill his mother in law, Judy Hebert.

Monday a detective went over evidence from what appeared to be Tashia's cell phone. Much of the defense counsel's cross examination had to do with a text conversation on March 1st, 2011 between Tashia and Todd.

"The person we're assuming is Todd Stuart says 'tired of your crap, paranoia and suicide attempts and doing everything,'" said defense attorney Jeffrey Robinson.

Robinson went on to say it appeared Tashia and Todd were having a fight and she was pleading for him to come back home.

A look at the browser history on the cell phone included searches for terms like 'how to kill yourself,' and 'is baking soda lethal.'
