Yakima, WASH.--Yakima Police are looking for two suspects involved in a late night park shooting.
A 38-year old African American man was shot in the hip and buttocks at Miller Park Sunday around 10:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by a person who spotted him in the area.
Police said the victim has been treated and released but is refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
"We learned that the victim had actually been with these suspects at a park bench for some period of time," said Captain Rod Light of the Yakima Police Department. "Some sort of argument may have ensued between them, and then the shooting took place."
Police said the shooting at Miller Park is nothing out of the ordinary. They've responded to incidents like this and other gang related activity at the park before.
