KENNEWICK, Wash.-- A Kennewick casino abruptly closed their doors this week and surprised people who frequent the location and even some workers.
At the Cadillac Island Casino in Kennewick, the doors are chained shut and closed signs on the doors are turning people away.
The owners of the property, Washington Securities & Investment Company, says the casino operators were dealing with financial issues and hadn't paid rent in thirteen months.
There is another Cadillac Island Casino in Longview, Washington, but both casinos wouldn't return our calls to share their side of the story.
The property owners said they were contacted by the gambling commission, but they wouldn't share any details about why.
