KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Dropping off a donation at the Kennewick Goodwill store is a whole lot easier now.
The store has opened a new donation drive-thru that's right next to where the old donation truck used to be parked. Goodwill wants to make it more convenient for people to donate.
This will be the third drive-thru in the region. The others in Richland and Wenatchee are always busy and receive many donations.
"They're waiting all day for it. The customer doesn't have to get out of their car. We have staff that's going to come out and unload them. IT doesn't have to be sorted in front of the customer. They just drive right through," says Heather Weaver from Goodwill.
The drive-thru will also be open for longer hours than the donation truck used to be. Those hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
