PASCO, Wash. -- A once-dormant Pasco shopping center is getting some new life.
Tonight, the Pasco City Council approved a zoning change and special permit to allow Goodwill to open a new store in the old K-Mart building on Court Street.
The council needed to amend the zoning classification for the land because the original zoning didn't allow for thrift shops. Goodwill has been working on the proposal for several months and they feel the new store will help re-vitalize that area.
