Basement fire causes a lot of damage to a Yakima home

YAKIMA, Wash.-- Firefighters were busy Wednesday working to put out a basement fire on the 3,200 block of Lincoln Avenue in Yakima.

It broke out a little after 9am.
 
Crews say the homeowners were able to make it out okay, but the blaze caused about $40,000 in damage.

They're not yet sure what set it off.
