UNION GAP, Wash.-- Zombies will take over Union Gap this Saturday as part of an event to benefit a local charity.
The Zombie Walk will feature several zombie-themed games and prizes, as well as a march through town.
If you want to join the fun you need to bring a can of food or a non-perishable food item.
All donations will go to Northwest Harvest and will be distributed to local food banks.
"It's getting close to Thanksgiving and everyone needs a little help around then and... We thought it was kinda fitting that zombies would be feeding the hungry," says Organizer Alexandria Ross.
The event starts at 4 pm Saturday afternoon at the Union Gap Elementary School football field. It will eventually move to Schell's Corn Maze.
Make sure you bring along some canned food or other non-perishable food items to donate for the food bank.
