Hanford Tank Confirmed to be Leaking

RICHLAND, Wash. - The Department of Energy and Washington River Protection Solutions now confirm there is a slow leak in one of the Hanford site's underground, double shell waste tanks. They say a small amount of chemical and radioactive waste is getting into the 30 inch space between the two shells of the tank, but not into the environment.
