GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- A man from Moses Lake is in jail after local and federal law enforcement officers seized hundreds of pounds of marijuana from three homes.
Detectives from Grant County Sheriff's Office's Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Agents served multiple search warrants and raided three homes in Royal City, Othello, and Moses Lake areas.
They found cash and 700 lbs. of marijuana and arrested 33-year-old Luis M. Farias on drug-related charges. Detectives say they expect to make more arrests as the investigation continues.
The arrest and search warrants were the result of a several-month-long joint investigation by INET and the DEA. Supervised by the Grant County Sheriff's Office, INET is comprised of detectives from the Sheriff's Office, Washington State Patrol, Quincy Police Department and Moses Lake Police Department.
