EVERETT, Wash. - Snohomish County prosecutors have charged an Edmonds police officer with custodial misconduct after he allegedly had sex with a woman while on duty.

 Prosecutors say Daniel Lavely, 47, originally stopped the woman in May for jaywalking and is accused of having sex with her in a parking lot.

Everett police arrested Lavely in June.
