Elderly woman killed in Union Gap accident

UNION GAP, Wash. - An 86-year-old woman is dead after trying to make an illegal U-turn on I-82 around milepost 35. While she was making the turn, a truck crashed into her and pushed her off the freeway toward a creek.

Officers say they tried to give the woman CPR but couldn't revive her. The truck driver was not hurt.
