Snoqualmie pass construction work almost complete

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash. - The Washington Transportation Department is finishing construction on Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass.

Lane restrictions on Snoqualmie pass are ending today (Friday) after crews finish repairs to the Cle Elum bridge. Crews will finish striping between North Bend and Ellensburg next week.

The Department said I-90 drivers will have two lanes in each direction while traveling over the pass.  However, next fall they plan to open three lanes in each direction over the three-mile stretch where crews have been blasting rocks away.
