A blogger at Deadspin caught that not-so-magical moment over the weekend during the Washington State-UCLA game. Did you see it? No, I'm not talking about Marquess Wilson's letter or Mike Leach's terse response about it in the post game interview.

The moment I'm talking about is when the ESPN cameras caught a jubilant Cougar fan swigging – no, chugging – a bottle of Fireball Whiskey. He was part of the crowd cheering the Cougars as the lower-third scoreboard said it was 7-0 UCLA in the first quarter.

I know Mike Leach is a fan of pirates, and pirates are known for their affinity for alcohol, but... really?

Timothy Burke, the Deadspin writer who spied the moment on TV and then wrote about it, identified the gentleman as this man: @CougFanTMB. And then he quoted his Tweet: "No more fireball. Ever."

I think that's probably a good idea. At least not inside the confines of Martin Stadium where the cameras are apparently everywhere.
